With a smoke and a dream Joce Reyome plummeted onto the sandy shores of Prince Edward Island five years ago and hasn’t looked back. They are a multi-faceted artist, but it’s music that found its home within this general rapscallion’s soul. A dynamic force within the Island’s music scene, Reyome was recognized as Music PEI’s “Entertainer of the Year” in 2022. They also amassed multiple nominations including “New Artist of the Year”, “Musician of the Year”, and “Pop/R&B/Soul Recording of the Year” for their single Cross My Heart, produced by Erin Costelo.

Reyome has been dedicated to cultivating their distinctive sound which blends classic blues sound with raw vocals, and a throwback to the rich origins of uninhibited rock while maintaining the gentle path of songwriting. Their sound is infused with inspiration from the likes of Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, and Tracy Chapman.

Joce performs with such genuine authenticity, it reminds you of the true depth honest music can hold. Audiences get engulfed when Reyome takes the stage, from the first chord struck to the last belting melody, they’re not just playing music for you, they’re leading you on a journey of complex heartbreak, blended with humorous interludes, and love personified.

Joce lives in Charlottetown with their wife Cameron, burly poodle-mix Frankie, and precocious cat Eggs Florentine who is more affectionately called Flori.
